Our K-8 Outreach Committee led a very successful middle school outreach day at Stout Middle School in Dearborn on Monday, November 11th.

7th and 8th grade students explored the engineering design process & automotive engineering through an interactive hands-on activity. The students were divided into groups and chose 1 of 3 types of cars (bristle bot, balloon car or wind powered car) to build, test & calculate speed. Their design challenge was to build the fastest car!

Shoutout to Sam Poeppelman, Trisha Matthews, Sarah Dziadzio, Jennifer Jensen, and Jenna Deebajah for their volunteer efforts!
